Teaching Assistant

A thriving primary school in the Kingston borough is currently looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant for a great Year 2 class.

This position will involve working closely with the class teacher, setting up the class room and helping the children with reading and other activities. You will need to have previous experience working as a teaching assistant within a primary school and have a bright creative personality to bring to the class room. The children within the class are well behaved and looking for someone to work with them with who has the ability to lead small groups and engage them.

The school has a young and vibrant staff who keenly support each other. Within close proximity to transport links, this school will provide the ideal candidate with the possibility of ongoing long term work.

Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position:
- You must have good spoken English;
- You must have a minimum of 6 months child related experience;
- Your CV must cover the last 5 years employment history and any employment breaks must be explained;
- You need to supply two recent references of which one must be from a school setting;
- This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure.
