Teaching Assistants

A Special Needs school in Bromley is currently looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to start from September 2010.

The school is large and complex and serves a diverse multicultural community in an urban area. The new Head was appointed in September 2009. He is an outstanding individual who has contributed to a school which is improving rapidly. The Senior Leadership is now very strong.

They are seeking a Special Needs Teaching Assistant who has worked with primary students who have SEN difficulties. The classroom has numerous children with autism and moderate behavioural problems. They are looking for someone who has had at least 1 year’s experience within these difficulties.

We will be doing interviews over the summer holidays, so please apply now.

Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position:
- You must have good spoken English;
- You must have a minimum of 6 months child related experience;
- Your CV must cover the last 5 years employment history and any employment breaks must be explained;
- You need to supply two recent professional references relating to your work with children;
- This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure.
