Ireland
Working holiday: Aussies and Kiwis aged 18 to 30 can get a year’s working holiday visa if they have sufficient funds to support themselves.
Other: Non-EEA nationals need a work permit. It’s difficult to get sponsored as it’s up to the potential employer to make the application and prove that efforts have been made to fill the position from within the EU/EEC. Work permits are generally only arranged for qualified people in sectors where skills are in demand, such as IT, architecture and nursing.
